Sometimes it can be difficult to have the motivation to exercise. We have all had days when we just feel like we can not be bothered. So here are some tips to help you all and give you that extra bit of help
Music
Create a workout playlist of songs that will keep you motivated. For some people this may be dance music, rock or pop. Use whatever music works for you. Sometimes having the right music is all you need to give your workout a boost!
Change your workout Location
You may have got bored of always working out in the same gym. So try doing your workout somewhere new. Instead of running on the treadmill try going for a run outside. If you do mostly bodyweight exercises you can do these anywhere, so enjoy the good weather while it lasts (if you want some ideas check out my videos).
New Workout Clothes
This is something I do alot myself and it is also my favourite. Why? Because I have an excuse to go clothes shopping! If your workout clothes are getting old and worn out, treat yourself to some new ones. Having a new pair of trainers or workout clothes can give you that extra motivation you need.
Have a Workout Plan
This is one of the most important things you need to have. If you have a plan it will be easier to stick to. Build it into your routine and even plan what time you will workout. Also keep a workout journal and record how you did during your workout. This will allow you to track your progress and see your improvements!
Have a Workout Partner
This is a great tip. Find a friend and always workout together. That way if one of you isn't feeling motivated then the other will help give you that push you need. Plus if you are like me, when I workout with someone we always end up competing (I hate losing!) and end up having a great workout
