This week I told you about how great apples are for you and because they are in season I have been collecting them. So here is a great quick and easy dessert recipe that you can use apples for.
Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1 Apple
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Greek Yoghurt
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Method
- Heat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking tray
- Wash the apple and cut it into 4-5 pieces. Remove the stem, core and pips
- Sprinkle cinnamon on both sides of the apple and lay them on the baking tray
- Place in the oven for 10 minutes and then turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes
- Take the apples out when they are golden brown and place the yoghurt on top and drizzle the honey over the yoghurt
