Here is a great healthy Valentine's Day treat that you can easily make at home. You can place it in a pretty box to give to someone special or enjoy it all yourself! The best bit is you can use any fruits you want. The following recipe uses my favourites
Ingredients
Orange
Strawberries
Raspberries
Cherries
Dried Coconut flakes
Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cocoa) - I used about 50g for 10 pieces of fruit
Method
Peel the orange and separate into segments. Wash all the fruit and dry
Place baking paper on a plate and place in a fridge for about 20 minutes. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler
Take the plate and baking paper out of the fridge. Dip the fruit in the dark chocolate and place on the plate. Sprinkle the dried coconut onto the raspberries and oranges
Place the chocolate covered fruit in the fridge to harden
